My son is one hell of a dribbler
My son, Nicholas, has reached 3 months and he is dribbling like crazy ( and I don’t mean in the football sense ). Its not just a little bit its loads, its like theres a tap left on and puddles of clear goo are appearing everywhere.
It has got to a point where we have to keep a bib on him or his clothes end up wet within minutes.
Amanda, used to dribble but no where near as much as Nicholas, may be its a boy thing.
Nicholas’s favorite holding position is belly down and after a few minutes of holding him gravity kicks in and the slobbery saliva starts to trickle down my arm. If I don’t catch it in time it falls onto what ever I am standing over.
When he is lying on his back his dribbles gather around his mouth and unintentionally he ends up blowing bubbles. Some of which are quite big.
Dribbling is a normal thing for babies. Most babies start to dribble at 3 months but some do start earlier or later it depends on the baby. Researchers say that dribbling is sign of teething but there is no evidence to back this up.
